Download the FlexRay controller, an IP function (IP core) in VHDL, for free for non-commercial use. This component is intended primarily for testing and diagnostics of error conditions and correct timing of FlexRay nodes. You can as well use this IP function as a normal FlexRay controller with almost all features of a standard controller. This component offers a configurable number of Tx and Rx registers. The controller was tested on the Cyclone II FPGA EP2C20F484C7N; it occupies 53% of the FPGA size (4 Rx and Tx registers).The component includes 32-bit interface compatible with the Nios II system bus. This controller is used in several scientific applications. There are several published articles, in which this controller is being used. There are e.g.:
- Methods for Measurement of Flexray Node Basic Timing Parameters, published on XX IMEKO World Congress 2012 in Korea.

Download the LIN controller, an IP function in VHDL, for free for non-commercial use. This IP function has the same functionality as the FlexRay controller, but was designed for the LIN bus. This components contains 8-bit avalon Slave interface (32-bit Axi lite on request) . You can download the documentation for this controller. If you are interested in the controller itself, please contact us and we will provide you with the VHDL code free of charge.
